Manuelle Lymphdrainage (MT)
Die Lymphdrainage ist eine spezielle Art der medizinischen Massage.
Bei ihr wird mit Hilfe einer bestimmten Grifftechnik und eines fein dosierten Druckes Gewebsflüssigkeit über die Lymphgefäße abgeleitet.
Indikationsabhängig erfolgt zusätzlich zur Manuellen Lymphdrainage eine Bandagierung der betroffenen Region, um über eine Kompressionswirkung die Lymphdrainage zu unterstützen.
Die Lymphdrainage wird hauptsächlich eingesetzt bei Lymphstauungen mit ödematösen Abflussbehinderungen (Flüssigkeitsansammlungen im Gewebe), wie beispielsweise leichten Lymphödemen, Schwellungen der Gelenke, nach Verletzungen, Blutergüssen und bei der Krebsnachsorge.
Auch bei Verbrennungen, Schleudertrauma, Morbus Sudeck und ähnlichen Krankheitsbildern führt die Anwendung der Manuellen Lymphdrainage zu einem schnellen Therapieerfolg.
